Who We Are
Alexander Sharpe, co-founder of A & J Finish Co., proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as a helicopter mechanic, where attention to detail and operational excellence were non-negotiable. That discipline and work ethic continue to drive everything we do.
After transitioning to civilian life, Alexander spent the past 3 years specializing in aircraft detailing, delivering consistent, high-quality results across a range of aircraft — from small pistons to corporate jets. With a strong commitment to hard work, consistency, and customer satisfaction, he brings both military precision and a client-first mindset to every job.​​

Jake McCatty, co-founder of A & J Finish Co. graduate of Oakland University, where he earned a degree in Finance. His strong work ethic and attention to detail were shaped long before college — as an Eagle Scout and former college hockey player, Jake developed a lasting commitment to discipline, leadership, and doing things the right way. He began his detailing career working on luxury yachts, where high standards and flawless finishes were expected. That foundation naturally led him into the world of aviation, where precision and presentation are just as critical.
